The advantages conferred by the new drive unit combination are immediately apparent - greater clarity, a better defined sound stage, punchier bass, better transient attack; all of these have been added to Harlech's acknowledged strengths of smooth, extended high frequency reproduction, coupled with the solid, substantial bass you only get from Quarter Wave designs.
